Duraflex is also know as K1042 and K1045 (see below for more detail)
Mild Steel (grade 250/350):

- Structural members
- High-rise buildings
- Storage Tanks
It’s a medium strength structural steel plate product with nominal yield strength of 250 MPa for grade
250, and nominal strength of 350MPa for grade 350.
Duraflex (or Grade K1042 or K1045*)
Typical uses:
- General engineering parts
- Profile cut gears
- Wear/abrasion applications
Features:
A heat treatable plate grade for general engineering applications.
*grade K1042 – made in Australia or New Zealand
*grade K1045 – made Overseas
